All the books fail to tell you that your newborn is capable of pooping on her own socks. Huh.

tidbits like that may discourage people from having kids altogether. another noteworthy one is that the poop reflex operates with a hair trigger, especially noticeable when the diaper is off, and attention is slightly unfocused. ick.

Talent, indeed. Flybaby has inspired me to new heights of defecatorial ability. I found out last night that I can not only poop on my own socks, but I can also poop into my own socks.
